Greetings! My name is Hannah Bautista, but on campus, I'm fondly known as Prof. B or Professor. I teach dual enrollment courses here at McKeel Academy and occasionally teach as an adjunct professor at Polk State College. I enjoy working with students at the collegiate level, and my main objective each year is to help DE students sharpen their skills as well as acquire new skills necessary to continue in the post-secondary world of education. I look forward to each student fully embracing the autonomy that comes with this level of education, and I enjoy watching them discover how to set themselves up for success.
As a person, I love to read, give and receive book recommendations, and discuss books as often as possible. My personal algorithms would show a love of herbal teas, book talks, Starbucks cups, fluffy blankets, recipes, Victorian literature, journaling, and quiet moments of reflection. As my son would say, I'm an indoor cat.
I'm looking forward to all this year has to offer and my 11th year as a Wildcat!
