Cooking Club (4th Quarter)

If you are interested in cooking and eating, this is the club for you.  There are a few details that need to be considered. First, you need to have your own transportation to the location (in South Lakeland @ What's Cooking).  Second, you are agreeing to come every week for the nine weeks.  Last, being able to listen and follow directions is very important.  If you can meet these requirements and want to have a good time, this is the place for you!  Priority will be to kids who didn't participate last year, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't sign up.  It is a first come first serve basis, so sign up quickly.  This club is on Thursdays at What's Cooking from 3:30-5:00pm.

Rowing Club

Do you want to try a new sport?  Do you want to stay fit between seasons?  Come out and give rowing a try!  This club will introduce you to rowing on both the machine and water.  Middle school and high school students of all ages, shapes, and sizes are encouraged to attend.  No experience needed, and the practice schedule is flexible so athletes can still participate in other clubs and activities. Rowing is available year round.

Sewing Club (Spring Semester)

Sewing Club - Do you know how to sew by hand or use a sewing machine? Want to learn? McKeel Sewing club will teach you how to sew basic hand stitches and how to use a sewing machine.  You will have the chance to make a pillowcase, sew spring and summer holiday decorations, headbands, scrunches, zipper makeup or travel case, tote bag, and PJ pants/shorts.  There may be some other fun sewing projects if time allows. Students have the option to sew during this time for community service, this will be explained in detail at our first meeting but will always be the choice of the student.
