Welcome to Mrs. Cafarchio's English 1 at McKeel Academy of Technology!

This is my seventh year teaching at McKeel Academy of Technology and my eighth year of teaching in general. I have a Bachelor of Science in Secondary English Education from Southeastern University.

I’ve been married seven years to my wonderful husband. Together, we have two beautiful and feisty daughters. I love games and friendly competition, as well as geeking out about my favorite TV shows and books. I also love crafting and creating things of beauty in my life. I look forward to bringing this kind of fun and positivity into my course's lessons and activities!

This year, we will journey together through the wonders of historical fiction and nonfiction, the volatile and changeful ways of the Greek pantheon, the dusty streets of Verona, the nooks and crannies of grammatical structure, and the twists and turns of poetic prose. Be prepared for anything as we dive into the world of reading and writing!

Students, email me any time you have questions, need extra help, experience technical difficulties, or need to schedule tutoring/retakes. Parents, email me with questions or to let me know if there is anything I can do for you or your child to enrich their McKeel Academy experience this year!
