- Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville
- Certified in Elementary Education K-6, General Science 5-9, & ESOL
- This will be my 14th year teaching for TSMA and 22 years total in education
- I will be teaching Physical Science and Biology
- Previously taught 7th grade science at MAT along with 5th and 6th grade science at South McKeel Academy
- Before teaching at TSMA, I taught in Polk County for 8 years
- I am the head coach for the girls' golf team
- My family is also part of the McKeel family, as my wife, Chantel, is the Art teacher at McKeel Academy Central, and my daughter, Samantha, graduated from MAT in 2024
