Hi there! I'm excited to kick off my 12th year of teaching and my 6th year at McKeel! I earned degrees in Environmental Chemistry and Marine Biology from UNC Wilmington and spent time working in environmental labs before diving into the world of teaching. When I'm not in the classroom geeking out over biology, you'll probably find me at one of my three kids’ sporting events, paddleboarding, searching for shark teeth, or curled up with a good book. I can't wait for another awesome year of exploring the world of biology with my students!
