This is my fourth year teaching 8th grade language arts at McKeel Academy and my sixth year teaching overall. I earned my Bachelor’s from Florida State University in Art History, and I attended the Educator Preparation Institute at Hillsborough Community College for my education courses. My goal as a teacher is inspire students to learn and to provide students with a foundation that will prepare them for a successful future. I want students to look back on their experience in my classroom and remember me as a teacher who truly cared about their success and their future. I am excited about this school year, and I can't wait to teach you all about what it means to have grit.
