Learn Something About Me

Welcome back Wildcats! Wow! What a ride the last several months have been.  I know I am glad to be getting back to school to see all your smiling and eager faces.

This year begins my eighth year at McKeel and 19th year teaching.  I earned my Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Business Management from Webber International University in 1997.

Over the span of my career I have taught Reading, English and Graphic Arts.  At McKeel, I am a part of  the Graphic Arts program and serve as  the Lead Teacher in the Digital Imagery Academy.  The students in this academy learn how to create many different kinds of media using Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.   Students also produce the morning news show and create the yearbook.

A very simple supply list is needed for all of my classes, as most of what we do is on the computer.

Supply List

Folder with pockets  (Can have prongs or no prongs, be paper or plastic.)

Notebook paper (wide or college, your preference)

Pencils or pens

Pack of Markers

Glue or glue sticks

Baby wipes

Bottle of rubbing alcohol (70%) -- this will be dumped into the container of baby wipes.  The wipes will be used to wipe down the keyboards and computer mice.
