Hello!
My name is Xochil (Sochee) Aguilar and I was born and raised in Lakeland, Florida and am extremely passionate about History and other Social Sciences. Outside of school I enjoy reading, traveling, spending time and money spoiling my nieces and watching movies. I have 2 sisters and as of now, 2 nieces that are my whole world! I always had a strong interest in History which is why I chose to pursue a career in it. I also wanted to make a difference in doing so, and teaching became my decision soon after.
I graduated from Southeastern University with a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Social Science Education. Teaching is my passion and it is truly pure enjoyment for me. This is my 8th year teaching and my 1st at MAT. I am excited to begin this new opportunity to teach the Legal Academy classes in high school and build new relationships with the staff and students at MAT.
