Welcome to Civics!
As a 2017 McKeel graduate, I am so excited to be back as an educator! I feel incredibly grateful to be giving back to the community that helped shape me. This will be my 4th year in the classroom! My journey as an educator began with teaching 4th grade. I spent two years teaching Language Arts and Social Studies at Spessard Holland Elementary. Last year, I had the opportunity to work with middle schoolers, teaching 6th grade U.S History and 8th grade Civics. Now, I am thrilled to focus on helping 7th graders explore the foundations of government and understand their roles as engaged citizens.
