I attended Saint Leo University where I earned my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I earned my Masters degree in Reading K-12 from USF. I am certified to teach Elementary Education K-6, Reading K-12 as well as Social Sciences 5-9. I currently have an ESOL endorsment and am state endorsed as a Civics Teacher of Excellence. This year I will be teaching 8th Grade American History/Career Planning and World Geography/Career Planning. I also serve as an adjunct professor in the education department of Florida Southern College where I enjoy sharing ideas for integrating reading in the middle school content area. This will be my twenty third year in the classroom and fifteenth year working with McKeel schools, I have worked in both Hillsborough and Polk Public Schools.
