Benjamin Arnold
Math Team
Hello!
My name is Benjamin Arnold. I am in the house of Eheys and teach Algebra 1 Honors and 7th grade math to 7th graders. This is my 13th year teaching math. I use my love of math to build furniture in my spare time, calculate times in my head as I run, and there is math in all the music I play.
I was born in Norristown, PA and moved around every 3 years growing up as my dad was a Chaplain in the ARMY. I lived in Germany through High School giving me a unique experience traveling Europe and experiencing a Department Of Defense school. I came to Lakeland to attend Southeastern University for college and have lived here ever since. After getting my B.A. in Church Music, I worked part-time at churches and had various other jobs before becoming a teacher. I received my Masters in Education Leadership from Florida Southern in 2020.
I am also a co-sponsor of Chi Alpha Mu (Middle School Mathematics Honors Society) and the Boy's Tennis coach. Please let me know if you need any information for either of these!
