Hello students, friends and family! My name is Christina Stephens. It is my first year of teaching and I'm honored to be part of the McKeel Team! I was born and raised just up the road in Auburndale, FL. I attended Florida Southern College and obtained my Bachelor's of Science in Biology with a Pre-Med focus. I then continued my education at Polk State College where I earned my Associate's Degree of Nursing as well as my Bachelor's in Nursing. I have been a registered nurse for 5 years with experience in the Emergency Department (Critical Care and Trauma) and Cardiology.
My husband and I have been married for 6 years and have a beautiful daughter who is almost 2. We love to travel, have a love/hate relationship with running and we serve at our local church, Access. I am most very excited to be part of the Medical Academy teaching Health Science II, Allied Health and EKG Technology. Here's to a wonderful year getting to know each of you!
