I graduated from Bethune-Cookman University with a degree in Political Science and later earned my master’s degree in Educational Leadership. After spending ten years at Ford Motor Credit, I began my teaching career and quickly discovered my passion for education.I started teaching Social Studies at Crystal Lake Middle School, where I spent three years before joining MAT. This will be my fifth year here at MAT. In addition to teaching, I coach the Girls’ Tennis Team, now in my fourth season. While in college, I competed on the Division I tennis team, and I’ve been playing since I was ten years old. I continue to share my love of the sport by coaching the girls' tennis team right here at MAT. Outside of school, I enjoy traveling the world—especially exploring beautiful beaches. I have one daughter who is very dear to my heart.I am thrilled to be teaching 9th Grade Introduction to Social Studies and Financial Literacy this year, and I look forward to an exciting and successful year together!
