Melissa Hilligoss
Snapshot: This will be my 20th year in the educational field, I have taught for 16 years and the remaining 4 I worked in the educational corporate world. I am a returning McKeel teacher and I am happy to be back with the McKeel family.
Educational Background: I have a bachelor's in secondary English education and two master's degrees; one in literacy K-12 and the other in educational leadership.
Personal: I have five amazing boys ranging in ages from 18-33 and 10 beautiful grandchildren. My hobbies include: reading, working out, cooking and bedazzling shoes. I can be easily spotted on campus since I am almost always wearing cowboy boots. I love the outdoors, clay shooting, and fast loud trucks or cars.
I look forward to working with each of you this year and making this a successful senior year.
