  • Vollyball Tryouts

    Volleyball tryouts will be Mon-Fri Aug 5-9 from 3pm-5pm in the gym. Please bring the 3 completed FHSAA forms (physical, liability, and concussion) dated after June 1. Kimberly Beals

8th Grade Team

Welcome to my teacher web page 2012-2013! This will be my second year at McKeel Academy. I graduated from Florida Southern College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Sciences and a Master degree in Education.

This year I will be teaching 8th Grade Advanced US History and 10th Grade World History Honors. In addition to meeting rigorous academic standards, I hope to teach students skills that will help them throughout their lives. I follow the McKeel Academy Economy System and I will not tolerate students being out of dress code or using cell phones and other electronic devices within my classroom.

CLASS SUPPLIES
8th Grade: Flash drive, writing utensil, pocket folder, paper, and a spiral notebook to stay in class. (All to be used for history only).
10th Grade: Flash drive, writing utensil, pocket folder, and 2 spiral notebooks everyday. *One spiral notebook will stay in class.* (All to be used for history only).
**If students come to class unprepared they will be expected to write a check.**

All assignments, directions, drop boxes, etc. will be located on schoology.com or provided in class. This is a very interactive website that will enhance and engage learning throughout the year.

Parents & Guardians: Please feel free to contact me through email with any questions or concerns you may have. Being an 8th grade team leader I am here to assist you and your child in making this year a success.

Students should be ready for a knowledgeable and exciting year!
